What are some Cuban or Spanish Stereotypes?

I’m writing a ten-minute play for my theatre classed based on Stereotypes. The assignment asks for us to choose stereotypes affiliated with our heritage, so I decided to pick either Spanish or Cuban; problem is, I have no idea what stereotypes are really affiliated with either.

So if someone could help me out, it’d be MUCH appreciated.

i like when Cubans say Cuba.. they pronounce it like "Coobah"

I would say a Cuban lives in Miami, FL. they wear gold chains, lots of gold chains and act gangster-ish, not black gang, like mafia, but Cuban mafia.. they were big shades, hairy chests with shirt open..

Spanish there are two types.. Spain=passionate lovers/ladies men. Mexico=poor, dirty, sombrero’s and those shirt/throws they wear like dirty hairy, tequilla-drinking, camaro or truck driving or fixing, big families, young latina women are sexy ballroom dancers.

For more spanish stereo types of the ones in America I would check out online or a comedy cd or show of Carlos Mencia… you might also find some Coobahn stereo types to help you too.
