The Teatro Colón (Spanish) (Colón Theatre) in Buenos Aires, Argentina is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. The present theatre, the second with that name, opened in 1908 after twenty years under construction. It has 2,367 seats and standing room for 1,000.
It is located on 9 de Julio Avenue, in the heart of the city, although the main entrance is on Libertad street.

el teatro colon lo han destruido y remodelado muy mall ..esta en un abandono que es para llorar…aun no tenemos noticias del teatro ..las ultimas imagenes mostraban grietas enormes.huecos en el interior,indundaciones,palos,maderas,paredes despintadas etc…la situacion es de emeregencia

lo que esta ocurriendo con el teatro colon es desastrozo!! casi nada esta siendo echo como se penso! o sea no estan cuidando la acustica! por ej, las telas de las silllas del teatro eran unas telas especiales para la acustica, un hombre venido de europa dio a conocer la tela que iba las compro y las mando aqui a la argentina! saben que hicieron con esas telas? LAS TIRARON. Cuando llueve una parte del teatro se inunda!. No estan haciendo nada lo estan destruyendo!!! :’( :’( :’(
