How can I get my application noticed when applying at a popular movie theater?

I want to get a job at this movie theater in my town, but a lot of people try and get jobs at this movie theater. How can I stand above my peers and get my application and ME noticed?

Talk to the hiring manager when you turn it in so they can put a "face" to the application, shake their hand, be inquisitive about the job and show that you really want it.
